Nariel Creek Bushfire Recovery trial 25,000 newly Nariel Creek Bushfire Recovery trial 25,000 newly hatched little Wild Trout alevins attached to their yolk sacs. When their yolk sacs have gone, the fry will be released into Nariel Creek as a Bushfire Recovery Stocking trial. The ATF & VFA working together and liaising with NSW Fisheries, obtained the wild trout ova from Gaden Hatchery. The ova was stripped from wild trout in the Thredbo River. A big shoutout to Cam & Mitch of NSW Fisheries, and Matt Byrne of ATF for some great work.
