Project: Macalister River,
Where: Glenfalloch Station, Licola Road, 1km past Glenfalloch Station or 5km South of Licola.
Easy 2wd with sealed road and plenty of parking
When: Sunday August 6, 2023. !0.00am planting start
Details: Glenfalloch Station have opened their property to further planting after a long delay due to Covid 19 and Crown Land access issues. This planting involves 1000 trees with guards. Holes will be dug already so it will be a matter of planting and guarding. This will be a relatively easy day of planting and plenty of ready hands will make it a fun day. A BBQ Lunch will be provided by West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority. Come along for the day and help restore one of Victoria’s iconic freshwater rivers.
